Minjia (Minja) Yan

Executive Director of Chamber Foundation

Minjia (Minja) Yan is the Executive Director of the AAPI Chamber Foundation, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization.


She is a commercial real estate professional and an adjunct professor at University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV) Lied Center for Real Estate, teaching real estate investment.


She serves on Urban Land Institute (ULI) Nevada’s management committee, believing in placemaking and shaping the future of the built environment for transformative impact in the community.

 

She was honored by Business Insider as one of the "2020 Rising Stars of Real Estate" and by Commercial Property Executive magazine as one of the "Stars to Watch 2022". In December 2022, she received the "President's Award" from American Institute of Architects (AIA) Las Vegas Chapter for her work in creating the first annual “Women Building Nevada” Symposium to celebrate, elevate and acknowledge the women who make a difference in the community and the built environment.

 

She serves on the advisory council of The Mob Museum and the community advisory board of Channel 13. She also founded a digital publication called Vegas Business Digest.

 

She holds a master’s degree in real estate with a concentration in finance and investment from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UNLV.
