He is also the recipient of the “CEO of the Year” award (IAOTP) and is a Marquis Who’s Who member since 2023.
Dr. Keo holds a doctorate from Columbia University and graduate degrees from Harvard University and The University of Chicago. He also holds a professional certification in impact evaluation from the MITx. He completed his postdoctoral research at The University of Pennsylvania.

He was also the Global Advisor for Leopard Capital Venture Capital.
Dr. Keo has invested in the AAPI community for over 25 years. He has conducted AAPI data disaggregation research for over two decades and has presented findings at Google, Harvard, The University of Pennsylvania, and other notable institutions. He deploys his skills and expertise to produce high-quality data and research that the community can utilize to effectively advocate for additional resources, help, and support they deserve. He is the principal researcher for the first-ever “National AAPI Equity Audit of PK-12 Public Education Systems” in the US. He is also the principal researcher for the first-ever “State of Cambodian American” research study, which introduced “Data Disaggregation 2.0.”
In his not-so-spare time, Dr. Keo publishes self-mastery books on compassion and kindness. He is inspired to help people overcome struggles by learning to become their “best self”. His inspiration to help others is a direct result of the impact and cruelty of the Cambodian genocide on his family.
His most recent book, Compassion NOW! (2022), is written to inspire people to continue climbing the mountain of success, despite the many obstacles and pitfalls they will inevitably face in life. His first book, Critical Humanity: Embodying Actionable Leadership in an Age of Compassion and Empathy (2021), presents a critical racial equity framework to help center AAPI populations (and other marginalized communities) in mainstream America, which he believes can be achieved through compassion for the self and others.
He is also the author of over 100 peer-reviewed academic research articles, monographs, articles, blogs, and reports. He was a regular contributor to The Diplomat, an Asia-Pacific foreign policy magazine focused on the South China Sea, Democracy, and Human Rights.
Most importantly, he is the father to his two beautiful children.
